bbArch was awarded the First Prize, and the project, for the Embassy of India in a limited, invited design competition. The prime seaside site and the symbolic importance for the Indian community in Oman made this a landmark.
The brief included a chancery building, the Ambassador's residence and essential staff housing. bbArch's scope spanned master-planning, landscape design, architecture, services design, interior design and complete project management. The completed complex was inaugurated by H.E. Pranab Mukherjee.
