This Privacy Policy explains how Babbar & Babbar Architects (“bbArch”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and protects information in connection with our website at www.bbarch.com (the “Site”) and the contact form provided on it. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
Babbar & Babbar Architects is an architecture, planning, interior design and landscape practice based in New Delhi, India. If you have any questions about this policy or your information, you can contact us at info@bbarch.net.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to respond to you and to keep the Site running:
Information you provide. When you submit our contact form, we collect the details you enter — your first name, last name, email address and message — together with the date and time of submission. We use this solely to read and respond to your enquiry.
Preferences. Your light/dark theme choice is stored locally in your browser (using local storage) so the Site remembers it on your next visit. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
Analytics. We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool that measures aggregate visits (such as page views and referring sites) without cookies and without collecting personally identifying information.
We do not knowingly collect payment information, government identifiers, or special categories of personal data through the Site.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to respond to your enquiries and communicate with you; to operate, maintain and improve the Site; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Google API Services
Our contact form is delivered to our inbox using Google Workspace and Google Apps Script, which rely on Google API Services. When you submit the form, the details you provide are transmitted through these Google services to reach us by email.
bbArch’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We access and use only the data necessary to deliver contact-form messages to us, and we do not transfer or use this data for serving advertisements, or for any purpose other than responding to your enquiry.
5. How we share information
We share information only as necessary to operate the Site and respond to you — for example, with the service providers that host our website (GitHub Pages) and handle our email and form delivery (Google Workspace). These providers process information on our behalf and are bound by their own terms and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
6. Data retention
We keep contact-form messages for as long as needed to respond to and maintain a record of our correspondence, and thereafter only as required for legitimate business or legal purposes. You may ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
7. Security
The Site is served over HTTPS, and we rely on established providers (GitHub and Google) with industry-standard safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information in our care.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@bbarch.net and we will respond within a reasonable time.
9. Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for a general, professional audience and is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. International visitors
We are based in India and our service providers may process information in other countries. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in locations outside your own.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
